The primary reason for providing this software to our members is for them to manage their link exchanges a lot easier. The interface is user friendly and no coding knowledge is required to add links. That said, persons with some skill in designing can make changes to header, color scheme etc. transforming the appearance completely.
The Directory has a link submit form that can be used by non-linkalizer websites to submit their links to exchange links with your site. The software comes with a powerful Admin Panel from which you can add, edit or delete links and check reciprocal links. It works in harmony with LinkAlizer. Just copy the HTML in your Linkalizer page, paste it to your Directory, select or create new category, enter reciprocal link URL and click on 'Add Link'. The link is added and the URL is displayed. Copy the URL, paste it to your linkalizer page and enter. It is so simple as 1,2,3.
Package comes as a .zip file. You will need a program like WinZip to extract the files. Installation is easy. You will require PHP and MYSQL in your hosting. How to add links to this Link Exchange DirectoryIt is easy and fast to add links from your linkalizer account to the link directory. 1. Login to your LinkAlizer account and select awaiting link back tab. (If there are no links waiting, then select accepted link invitations tab.) Now you have to add these links to your directory. 2. Open the admin panel of your directory: http://www.yoursite.com/partners/admin/ in a new window.
login with the user name and password. (default username Is demo123 and password demo123. Change this in the file /admin/secret.php).
Tip: If you have a big enough monitor you can resize the two screens and place them side by side. That will make it easy to copy and paste. Select the Add new links tab. 3. Copy the link's html from the box in LinkAlizer. Paste it in the html box in your Directory. If you have the two screens side by side, you can select the html in LinkAlizer and drag it to the html box in your Directory panel. The Category box will be empty in the beginning. You have to add the category in the new box. It may be easier to copy the category from LinkAlizer and paste it. 4. Click Add Link>>> button. The link is added to your Directory. 5. The URL of the link page will show in Green. Copy that and paste to linkalizer. -----

If someone has submitted a link using your add link form on the partners homepage, that will show up in this tab. You can check and approve. Edit Links
If you want to edit any of the links that are already added, you can do it here. Search for the link with either url or title. If you search with url, do not use the back slash at the end. (it should be .com not .com/) Edit Categories
Here you can edit the categories. But note that the links page URL will change.
Therefore, it is better not to edit categories after links have been added under it. Instead, you can add as new category. This facility is provided so that the category can be edited before links are added.
